Inverted Tee Beam (IT Beam)
In the case of an inverted T-beam, the shape is essentially turned upside down, with the flange portion located at the bottom and the stem (or web) extending upward. The inverted T-beam offers advantages such as increased load-bearing capacity compared to a standard rectangular beam of the same depth, as well as providing a flat surface on the underside for constructing floors or attaching other structural elements. It can also provide lateral stability due to its wide bottom flange.
